IO-Item Object

An IO-Item object represents an items in the external datasources. In other words, IO-Item objects are created for each tag that is subscribed from a datasource.

IO-Item objects can be created under DataSource objects, IO-Node objects and History Transporter objects.

Like Datasource objects, IO-Item objects are specific to the type of external system they connect to. When creating an IO-Item object under a History Transporter, make sure to select the IO-Item type that corresponds to the imported data. On Datasource and IO-Node objects, only matching IO-Items can be created.
