WebStudio
WebStudio is the main web application for AspenTech Inmation OT DataFabric, which can be used for system configuration. It can also be used to compile interactive dashboards to visualize the data from your system.
Built using the WebStudio framework, the System Config App is a dedicated application developed specifically for configuring and managing the system. This app provides a structured and visual approach to system configuration, enabling users to interact with the platform’s Object Model and edit and inspect the object properties in the Object Lens.
In addition to configuration tools, the System Config App includes a dashboard display panel that offers real-time insights into system status and performance. This panel is designed to support monitoring and validation during setup and testing, helping users quickly identify issues and verify system behaviour.
| We refer to a "WebStudio App" as one or multiple WebStudio compilations interacting with each other. Apps can be created by AspenTech Inmation and shipped out of the box, or can be created by any user. Sometimes in the documentation, we talk about compilations. When something is ready for distribution and usage, we call it a WebStudio App. This is independent from the complexity of the App (could be many compilations/sub-compilations, or just one). |
