Archive Selection
The Archive Selection property is part of the Archive Options property compound, present for all object classes that produce time series data. It is also available for the Event Stream objects ( Event Stream, Internal Event Stream, Script Events and the Redundant Event Stream) for archiving production tracking events.
The Archive Selection property allows the user to select the data store and Data Store Sets in which they wish to archive the data.

It is also possible to create Data Store Sets to which Time Series Data Stores and Generic Time Series Buffers can be added.
To add Time Series Data Stores to Data Store Sets, the user must have LIST permissions on the Time Series Data Store object. For more information on permissions, see Permissions.

These Data Store Sets will become available for selection from Archive Selection drop-down menu when added to the Node.
Archive Selector for Event Data producing objects
There are two default stores available from the drop-down menu for event data producing objects:

All Event Stores (this means the data will be stored in any event stores that exist in the tree above the object AND the System Event (A&E) Data Store.
It is also possible to create Data Store Sets to which Event Data Stores and Generic Event Buffers can be added.
These Data Store Sets will become available for selection from Archive Selection drop-down menu when added to the Node.
