ODBC Connectivity
One of the most widely used interfaces in the world, Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) is an open standard API for accessing relational databases. AspenTech Inmation has different options to connect with databases using the ODBC interface.
-
The ODBC Datasource: Connect to SQL servers and automate the execution of queries and processing of returned data
-
Using SQL in Lua: Use the luasql library to connect to connect to ODBC and perform database operations. Examples for SQL and MySQL servers are provided.
-
Connection to IP.21 through ODBC with History Transporter and History Sink (also available to configure through History Controller)
| By default, ODBC is supported on Windows nodes. Support on Linux container nodes requires additional container configuration. |
